Here’s how I started using Free and Clear shampoo. A couple of years ago, my scalp was itching uncontrollably.  I found myself scratching my scalp all day long, unable to find relief. Therefore I went on a mission to see all the different shampoos that are for itchy scalps, tried one shampoo after the other, and to my dismay, nothing helped.

I finally booked an appointment with the dermatologist, and she suggested I start using Free & Clear Shampoo. The dermatologist told me to get it at the drug store such as Walgreens, but when I went to Walgreens and several other drug stores, I did not find it on the shelf, and the pharmacist said they didn’t carry it.

Eventually I found out that it can be requested at the pharmacy or even better yet be ordered on Amazon.   The price ranges from $8.00 to $12.00 but is worth the price if your scalp itches. 

I use both the shampoo and conditioner and highly recommend them.  The shampoo does not smell like the other fragranced shampoos and does not lather as much as the regular shampoos.    Free & Clear is made by Pharmaceutical Specialties.  Their line of products includes conditioner, body wash, cream, shaving cream, and more all geared toward sensitive skin.  

So far, I have not used the other products, but I am sure they are as good as the shampoo and conditioner.
